SUMMARY

The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks in support of both business development efforts and sustainment activities. Key responsibilities will include price modeling, strategic guidance and financial analysis. This position has visibility to senior leadership and is expected to work independently while developing cross-functional relationships. A qualified candidate will act as a champion for the pricing team and strive to push the organization forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote the mission, vision and values of the organization.

  • Review proposal documentation and develop pricing solutions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to capture all pertinent data necessary to document cost assumptions and basis of estimates.

  • Maintain ownership of all pricing actions through completion of bid process.This includes, but not limited to, conducting status meetings and delegation of duties.

  • Prepare and present Profit and Loss (P&L) statements that reflect the financial impact of pricing strategies, both pre and post-contract execution.

  • Provide analysis and support for all functional areas such as budgeting, indirect rate formulation, funding requests, and contract management.

  • Manage a portfolio of programs to aid finance and operations in variance/trend analysis.

  • Provide value added solutions to customers and help improve efficiencies throughout the organization.

  • Deliver mentorship to teammates and customers.

  • Other duties as assigned; travel may be required.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 3 years of related experience and/or training involving government contracts.

  • Working knowledge of FARs, CAS, certified cost or pricing data requirements and GSA rates.

  • Power user of Microsoft Office Suite; expertise in Excel a must.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA a plus.

  • Proficiency with ProPricer, CostPoint, Lawson ERP, and Power BI are strongly preferred.

  • Previous pricing and estimating experience within the aerospace and defense industry.
