SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative will work in support of the Trading & Distribution business plan for the region in support of the external sales teams and customers. The focus of this position is to work closely with the external sales team to help improve, enhance, and optimize AAR’s route to market and provide excellent customer support to our customers in the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A Self-starter with an inquisitive mind to help identify new customers through extensive desk based and market intelligence-based solutions.

  • A collaborative mindset able to communicate throughout the organization with members of the sales & marketing function and senior leadership.

  • The position requires an individual who is a strong communicator (written and oral) who is keen to grow a career in the business development function supporting the aerospace inventory.

  • Build & manage customer relationships.

  • CRM / BI dashboards or similar reporting software to capture customer and sales pipeline information.

  • Provide full support to the external sales team as necessary including day to day RFQ’s, order processing and customer service.

  • Work as part of a larger sales organization to identify new customer opportunities and areas of improvement.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • PC Literate (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams)

  • Knowledge of commercial / business aviation market and it’s key participants & workings.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor (B.A./B.S.) degree from four-year College or university required; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGES:

  • English

  • Fluency (written and spoken) in at least Spanish and/or Portuguese.
