Title: Credit Analyst

Analyzes credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to firms or individuals.


  • Evaluate clients on credit hold for credit release.

  • Responsible for financial analysis to make prudent business and credit decisions.

  • Evaluate accounts, establish payment plans and maintain proper follow-up.

  • Establish credit limits.

  • Maximize collections and maintain customer relations.

  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.

  • Perform monthly A/R close function.

  • Produce spreadsheet reports on a daily and monthly basis.

  • Analyze account reconciliations

  • Formulate new analytical and collection applications through creative data processing applications.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Understand basic accounting principles and general ledger
