The Accounting Intern will provide support to our various financial-related teams while learning how each function operates. You will spend time with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit. The internship will commence in early June 2019 and end in early August 2019. The schedule will be 40 hrs. per week, Monday through Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and correlate basic financial information using established procedures.

  • Manage data migration from financial planning application to financial database.

  • Work with other members of the department to learn how the department functions within the company.

  • Attend seminars and meetings as assigned.

  • You will have the support, guidance and supervision from an assigned mentor.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Accounting from four-year College or university; must be at least going into their senior year.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPA of 3.0 or better

  • Intermediate and/or advanced user proficiency in MS Excel.
