Position Overview:

The Business Development Analyst will work within our distribution division and be primarily responsible for assessing and analyzing new business opportunities both within our current portfolio and externally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new partnership opportunities including estimation of total aftermarket size, analysis of product competition, and determination of current market pricing and availability

  • Assess historical data to help determine initial provisioning stock for new partnerships

  • Assist with contract negotiations for new partnerships

  • Develop go-to-market strategies to assist the sales team and product managers with the implementation of new partnerships

  • Source the market for non-represented product in response to sales requests

  • Analyze data to determine competitive market pricing by product line.

  • Work with product managers to determine appropriate product pricing

  • Determine opportunities for development of new business through analysis of current footprint in the market, uncovering of synergies with potential new partners, and review of competition

  • Prepare presentations of findings for senior management and external customers

  • Assist in the preparation of financial models related to business deals



  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preference given to Marketing/Market Research related field

  • 1 years of experience working in a corporate setting

  • Preferred experience in Market Research and/or Finance

  • Basic Excel skills required; intermediate Excel skills preferred

  • Personal qualifications should include: self-starter, critical thinker, communicates effectively
