Receives incoming material and prepares materials for shipment while following shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing, schedules and requirement
§ Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
§ Determines method of shipment
§ Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers
§ Follows shipping practices/procedures and transportation routing schedules and requirements
§ Operates a forklift
§ Maintains a safe and audit-ready work area
§ Works within guidelines of Department of Transportation for hazardous shipments
§ Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
§ Supervises the Shipping/Receiving staff and oversees daily work during absence of the Supervisor
§ Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
§ Thorough knowledge of:
FAA and Regulatory requirements
Microsoft office basics
§ Skill to:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and proceduremanuals
Apply concepts of basic math
Proficiently use Syteline Item Maintenance, SRO maintenance, Incident Maintenance, Inventory, Purchasing screens and BI reporting
§ Must maintain a valid state drivers license
Successfully complete forklift training
