SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of employees and must comply with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all personnel and operations on shift.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

  • Report any process and equipment problems.

  • Organize work for smooth operation.

  • Assure that established policy, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.

  • Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area.

  • Meet production quality and quantity standards on the shift.

  • Strong judgment and decision making.

  • Must possess coaching and development skills.

  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.

  • Appraising performance.

  • Rewarding and disciplining employees.

  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate of Arts degree (AA) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, or 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Prior experience in the aviation industry, required.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, required.
