SUMMARY The Sheet Metal Technician III is a basic or entry level position ideal for new graduates from Technical or A&P school. Also ideal for mechanics with less than three years of heavy aircraft experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Able to perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision, use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently. Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards, and all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. May or may not have an A and/or P license, FCC license, or repairman's certificate. Some sheet metal experience helpful, including relative experience outside of Aviation. Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required. Candidates without experience in Aviation Sheetmetal must successfully complete 120 hours of General Aviation Training (OJT). Must possess the ability to learn.
