SUMMARY

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring the entire logistics chain to ensure support of the program customer while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Supervisor in maintaining database elements including consignment part master table, interchangeability maintenance, pricing matrix, system security (where required), inventory and transactional integrity in the applicable database.

  • Ensure all material supplied is consistent with AAR and Customer requirements.

  • Review and resolve rejected or undeliverable material in a timely manner.

  • Ensure accurate material status is relayed to customer and site representative in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Review and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Interface with appropriate personnel within the logistics chain to organize and expedite inventory shipments, transfers, purchase orders, and repair orders in support of depot level maintenance activities.

  • Maintain daily communications with on-site representatives.

  • Make recommendations for process and procedure changes required to improve overall supply chain efficiency.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1 year of experience is preferred.

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel.

  • Access experience preferred.
