This on-site advisor is responsible for training and monitoring activities for students learning how to perform logistics, shipping/receiving, stocking, potentially basic procurement and supply for supporting a small number of aircraft. This role is a liaison between the customer, students and contractor staff and supports the on-site execution of logistics, supply and support functions.

  • Anticipates problems and works to mitigate anticipated problems.

  • Provides technical direction for specific projects assigned.

  • Serves as a technical authority for various functional areas.

  • Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames and budgetconstraints.

  • Schedules and assigns duties within the responsible areas.

  • Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise Host Nation trainingplan.

  • Prepares and delivers appropriate training.

  • Provides daily supervision and direction to students and staff.

  • Monitors task progression and keeps the Site Manager, Director and DeputyDirector abreast of all problems and accomplishments.

  • Responsible for directing and managing all logistics, procurement and supportservices functions in a high-visibility, fast-paced international settings

  • Ensures the maintenance and monitoring of established inventory min/max levels.

  • Ensuresproper document management procedures are imbedded and followed.

  • Overseesshipping and receiving to include order, receipt, inventory and storage ofmaterials.

  • Understandall logistic requirements for the DoS location assigned.

  • Shall not serve in any other capacity within this contract or any other.

  • Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing for the site.

  • Anticipate logistics problems related to operational areas and environmentaland human factors and determines contingency requirements and solutions.

  • Design and conduct research or technical studies to support logisticfunctions.

  • Work closely with the Country Site Manager to facilitate continuous anduninterrupted operations

  • Bachelordegree from four-year College or University; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) yearslogistics experience.

  • Must possess and/or obtain either a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or a Secret Security Clearance, as required for the position, prior to hire.

  • Effective communications skills in English
