Sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials,

parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes

statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors

performance of suppliers. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing

processes. Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions. Tracks data to keep informed

on price trends and manufacturing processes. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers'

operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality,

reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects, or

recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment,

and maintains necessary records. May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Qualifications:

• Know and understand company policies and safety procedures

• Maintain computerized ERP system

• Negotiate competitive pricing for purchases

• Establish and maintain multiyear vendor contracts

• Acts as primary liaison for new vendors

• Resolves invoices and purchase order disputes

• Interacts with and interviews vendors, salesman and department heads

concerning the purchase of aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment.

• Verifies and processes requisitions, purchase orders, inventory re-order

points.

• Maintains files of current catalogs specifications, and qualified vendors.

• Driving inventory optimization by implementing best practices while satisfying customer

demands and business targets – includes WIP / E&O reduction and FG strategies.

• Providing appropriate material availability to meet customer demands and revenue targets.

• Creating standard work/detailed work instructions for all supply chain functions

• Analyzing market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability

and prepare market analysis. Calculating capacity and demand variation using simulation

analysis.

• Maintaining inventory integrity and cycle count process

• Lead and coordinate the site wide Annual Physical Inventory.

• Arranges for the disposal of surplus and obsolete materials.

• Attend meetings where supply chain is concerned.

• Supervise all supply chain training.

• Performance Appraisals.

• Coaching and/or counseling

• Other various duties as needed or assigned.
