Responsible to the Site Manager for all phases of maintenance, to include planning, inspection, repair and service of aircraft.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate activities between hangars and between shifts
Perform hanger audits
Provide technical support as required
Plans, organizes, and supervises aircraft and associated equipment maintenance
Plans and schedules work assignments, workloads and maintenance procedures
Checks methods and techniques employed in inspection, maintenance, repair, service and modification of aircraft and installed equipment
Responsible for FOD prevention program
Establishes priorities for maintenance requirements within scope of authority
Observes performance to ensure compliance with publications, technical orders and work standards are met
Provide support for aircraft when deployed
Ensure site employees receive training when due
Ensure all manual and computerized record keeping systems are accurately updated, to include CARMAC and EMRKS
Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames and budget constraints
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff, schedules and assigns duties as appropriate
Responsible for complying with all safety and health regulations, security protocols, OSHA and all applicable local safety standards, reporting & record keeping
Communicate to Site Manager any problems and suggested solutions
Communicates with local customer regarding aircraft availability and scheduling
Communicates with Maintenance Control regarding issues, problems, and aircraft status
Ensure overall customer satisfaction
Travel may be required
Position requires proof of US citizenship
Position requires successful completion of DHS Background Investigation
Must possess a valid state driver’s license in order to obtain a US Government issued and airfield driver’s license
All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree and eight years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong leadership skills required.
A&P License required.
Good working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
