SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting one or more project/engagement teams through successful management of information relating to financial analysis and reconciliation through the implementation of project management controls. Provide engagement management knowledge for the entire project management teams by assisting with initiating and controlling project data and variance reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform various financial analyses, such as reconciliations and variance analysis.

  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts to track financial metrics such as revenue, expense, etc.

  • Interact periodically with senior level internal and external clients to present various analyses, discuss recommendations and provide project financial advice.

  • Partner with the project management office PMO to help prepare and provide backup for client invoices.

  • Support the project management office PMO functional task leads in the performance of day to day contract management activities to include but not limited to task orders, proposal capture and preparation.

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the overall WASS Division through active involvement in one or more division initiatives.

  • Implements execute internal control and Project Controller processes.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, Federal regulations and guidelines and contractual requirements.

  • Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust MRPT.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required:

  • B.A. B.S. degree.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in financial analysis or budgets.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Project and Visio.

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Preferred:

  • Former experience in a Federal Professional Services Contracting environment is a plus.

  • Experience working in an austere environment on a scheduled work R and R rotation.

  • Experience with Costpoint.
