Responsible for supporting one or more project/engagement teams through successful management of both the financial analysis and reconciliation process and through the implementation of project management controls. Provide engagement management knowledge for the entire project management team(s) by assisting with initiating and controlling organization and logistical aspects of projects.


  • Perform various financial analyses, such as reconciliations and variance analysis.

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to track financial metrics such as revenue, expense, etc.

  • Interact periodically with senior level internal and external clients to present various analyses, discuss recommendations and provide project financial advice.

  • Partner with the INL and Airlift Group Controller to prepare client invoices and follow up with client offices on collections.

  • Manage and perform project management office (PMO) functional tasks and perform day-to-day contract management activities to include but not limited to: task orders, proposal capture and preparation.

  • Understand and utilize standard processes for project management, quality management, and risk management.

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the overall WASS Division through active involvement in one or more division initiatives.

  • Implement/execute internal control and Project Controller processes.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, Federal regulations and guidelines and contractual requirements.

  • Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • BA/BS with major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Management and/or combination of education and related experience.


  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in financial analysis.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint Project and Visio).

  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.


  • Former experience in a Federal Professional Services Contracting environment is a plus.

  • Experience with CostPoint.
