SUMMARY

The SR HR Business Partner works closely with the management team to support employees timely, and professional manner. This position carries out responsibilities in the following areas HRIS, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, employee engagement, and policy development and maintenance.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) with former HR Business Partner experience and ready to join an inspiring and engaging team. The Sr. HR Business Partner is an experienced professional who can effectively manage multiple client groups simultaneously, ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a candidate that is innovative and collaborative with their approach to meeting and resolving business challenges. The successful candidate has relationship building skills, great verbal, written, and presentation skills, and a will have a commitment to AAR’s values of “Doing It Right”.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support people-leaders, and employees on HR related matters, including HR policies and procedures, employee development, employee engagement and wellbeing. Act as HR contact to the leaders of the client groups they support.

• Administers various human resources plans and procedures for client groups they support, assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and HR Administration Manual.

• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results for client groups in relation to established goals.

• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

• Collaborate with local HR Leadership on employee relations concerns disciplinary actions and workplace investigations in partnership with Legal department as required.

• Assists with separation procedures to include but not limited to exit interviewing, departing email, and processing documentation as required.

• Partner with Business Area leaders and HR team to administer annual Performance Management program to include but not limited to perform training, assist in communication of program and review and record results.

• Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database to include but not limited to new hire, termination, and personnel status change processing.

• Assists in coordination of company required training compile training reports and communication to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.

• Assist in the development of effective teamwork within the department, training new members of the team as required.

• Manage work to meet deadlines often under tight time frames and assist team members when required.

• Update personnel records and ensure the documentation is appropriate and up to date.

• Local travel to sites within 15 minutes of the primary program office

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Required

• B.S.B.A. degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist Role with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. (i.e, HIPAA, Employee Relations, etc.)..

• Working knowledge of federal SCA and related labor laws

• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience working with HRIS.

• Excellent attention to detail while meeting required deadlines.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments with little supervision and ability to work well under pressure.

• Effective demonstration of solid judgment and good decision making.

• Ability to obtain and Maintain a MRPT

Preferred

• Ability to speak and write Spanish (Level 2)

• ADP HRIS experience EV-5, My ADP, ADP Reporting

• Experience with OCONUS Government Contracts FSA employees.

• Experience with Cost Point, Taleo, and Workday.

• Active DoD Secret clearance

• Advance degree in Human Resource Management
